Since its original release in 2001, the 991 has been synonymous with superlative quality, setting the standard for modern running design as the first of the 99X series to feature an ABZORB window in both the forefoot and the heel. This new version is dressed in tan pigskin suede and tonal mesh with silver synthetic leather accents and a reflective silver 'N' logo on the sides. Embroidered white branding, including 'Made in England' on the silver leather tongue and 'V2' on the heel, with the aforementioned ABZORB midsole, and a grey, black and blue rubber outsole finishes off the details.
